About This Project
The Homefield Aged Care Facility redevelopment project included the demolition of outdated buildings (to improve site amenity) and the complete refurbishment and significant upgrades to the existing facility. The new-look facility provides 56 refurbished rooms with shared or single ensuites, improved way-finding and comfortable living spaces connected to landscaped gardens.
A new, purpose built, 18 bed Memory Support Unit was also created. The interiors and secure courtyard were carefully designed to improve resident’s well-being and assist residents with way-finding and recognition of their rooms and facilities.
An existing multi-purpose building was renovated to create a Wellness Centre, providing important respite services for the community.
